It is just trial and error until you find the settings which suit you. I am sorry I can't give more advice about the settings. Hopefully, someone who has the same wheel or the same rotation might be able to give advice.
When it does come time to buy a better wheel save your money and buy the best you can afford. My recommendation is a Thrustmaster. I have had Thrustmaster and Logitech wheels and the Thrustmaster are a superior wheel both in quality and how they are in ATS and ETS2. They are belt driven so they are smooth to turn and are good on rough surfaces whereas the Logitech are notchy and rattle. They also have better software and better FFB in ATS and ETS2 as well.
Anyway, I hope you can get your current wheel workng well in the game. Just a bit more advice. Make sure your wheel is plugged into a USB2 port directly on your computer and not a USB3 port or a USB-hub. I am not sure if your wheel has software to download or it is plug and play but if it has software make sure you download and install it.
