Drop Axles
Hey,

I just recieved a cargo delivery and it's a long tanker, with 4 total axles.

2 Of the axles are lift/droppable. Would I want to use the lift option for driving in the city for maneuverability (butchered that word) and then all axles lowered for the scales and highway?

Thanks for your help!

Yep, You would lift them at low speeds to turn better, and lower them at high speeds for better stability

Is there a "lock out" at certain speeds where they cant be operated? for instance, the diff locks can only be set at a certain speed (lower than 25) will that also happen to the drop axles if i wanted to lower at 55 mph? (crazy)

I don't think so, but I've never tried it

lift axels are there for the weight you carrie not if you are in a town or not......also if you get stuck you can lift the axel to get free.....in real life the axel will not lift if you are over the lift weight.....and if its up when you load it will go down auto.....but this is in real life
