So i picked a job that took me from carson city thru the yosemite tioga pass when i stopped at the building it said commercial trucks not allowed but my route was thru there so i continued and few seconds later the game freezes and crashes said american truck sim stopped working?? why what is happening? someone please help i would love to do a delivery thru there

It should not crash there. But in real life, trucks aren't allowed on that route, but it's in the game for fun. Verify your game files and ensure any mods you have aren't causing that crash.

how do i ensure the MODS arent causing it?? could it be a bug ?

Start a new profile, enable no mods, try driving through that route. If it crashes, it's a mod. If it doesn't, it's a game bug.

I would suspect it is due to a map mod or a mod which changes the environment. Check your game log in your ATS folder in Documents, it should indicate any problems you have in the game.

i have mods for environment sounds like trucksweather sounds and real gas station names and the fines being lower thats it

Deactivate the environment mods and then try going through there again.

i shouldnt hVE TO THOUGH and i cant make sense of my game log i dont see anything about ats stopping or crashing the game crash log has a bizzilion letters numbers codes

i like the sounds its a bug i think on there part cause i just updated to this new version today

You have mods for the fines being lower, and right after you enter the park and pass the place where you get a fine, the game crashes.

No way that could be connected.

i stop at the place but i dont get a fine it just says commercial trucks not allowed turn around and go back so i go thru get a few feet past the cars by the lake and boom american truck sim has stopped working ? my route is set for me to go thru its not because of the not allowed part is it?

You don't get the fine at the entrance, there is a zone for you to turn around before you get fined.

If it was a bug it would have been identified by now. There have probably been hundreds of players who have gone through there. I did not mean the crash log, I meant the game log, it gives information about everything from the moment you start your game until you stop the game.

It will be a mod. If you doubt this then do as Reese's Cup advised you to do and create a new profile without any mods and then go through there.

If you have problems with your game the first thing you do is look at your mods. They are the cause of the absolute majority of problems players have with the game.

Drop your trailer then try driving in. It won't crash because you won't be fined.

k echo thx but as i told u how do i check if my mods are outdated and maybe thats why im not turning around when that warning comes up that trucks are not allowed so the game crashes but why is that my choosen route for the job
