You're on the right track. Power and torque for the heavier loads, lights and shiny stuff as you see fit or when money permits. Might consider a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ with a retarder as it increses your heavy cargo abilities. I usually run an 18psd Eaton/Fuller with retarder, pretty much covers anything you pull. Increase both heavy cargo and uneven terrain abilities.

Torque first, all else second.

Some good gear sets in this mod, not too terrible on price.

Good power and torque on some of these motors, they are all $42,000. I like the Cummins N14.20 1,420HP 3,420 ft/lbs torque. Sounds are awesome.

I also have a few trucks with this CAT motor, heavy haul beast. 900HP 4,500 ft/lbs torque. Cost is $32,500 in the shop. Working in 1.31, no issues.

I was on the on ramp goin downhill, dam firetruck in front of me stops full stop- boom, 10% damage.
then I do a difficult park, air brakes go low pressure, lose that bonus, have to call repair.

Just take your time, let your money build up. Pay back loans as soon as you can, it won't take long until you can borrow up to $400,000. I took out about three $400,000 loans all together and paid them back as soon as I could while still leaving myself some money. The more you build up your skills, the more money you will get from jobs. Try to build up your long distance first by searching jobs that are longer routes, then focus on other skills. Do fuel economy last.

I had done a post about my strategy and it got moderator locked because of some troll on there, well being a troll. You can't comment on it, but here it is.

I liked the post. I put one up that I found to help with stutters in graphics and was shot down by a troll so I don;t put any up anymore.

I'd rather have an 18 speeed Eaton Fuller (no retarder to save money) than a high power engine. I've done a lot of heavy loads with a 370 hp motor, you just go more slowly up hill sometimes.
I'll just use a 10 speed in real automatic mode until i can go to the 18.
If you stay as deep in debt as you can and spend your money on garages and trucks for drivers you'll be rich in no time and be able to afford whatever truck you want any time you want.

I can borrow another 100k now, 87 left owed, also eligible for 400k now.
what to do, i have 101k.
I never upgraded my tiny junky garage, and for another driver I need 180k for garage, another garage..whateva. adds two slots.
hire another driver, and borrow.buy garage?

Asigion May 16, 2018 @ 3:49pm
If you buy a garage in another location it costs the same as upgrading your own garage and it gives you 3 spaces for drivers rather than 2 if you upgrade your tiny garage. You need to do that first before hiring any driver anyway.

You can give him your truck and drive quick jobs if you'd like...but the fastest way to get ahead is to borrow as much as you can and hire and equip drivers.
