How long would it take to do the longest drive?
I think this game is funny, I won't drive 1.5 hours to the coast IRL even though it would be a lot of fun once I get there, but I had no problem the other day spending 1.5 hours on a drive in this game. It's so fun and low stress, unlike real driving. But it made me wonder with all the states we have now what is the longest drive you can do in real world hours and from which towns (assuming you obey speed limits). I would imagine N. CA (Hornbrook) to eastern NM (Tucumcari/Clovis) would be the furthest but I have no idea how long it would really take to drive that route. Like 3-4 hours maybe? Has anyone documented it?

From southern California to northern Main in a truck would probably take you about four to six days I would imagine. That's with clear weather, good traffic, and no problems with your vehicle the entire trip.

With Canadream + C2C + Viva mexico, driving from Quebec City to about San Bruno, @ 140km/h, took me like you said a good 3-4 hours.
Would take like 5-6 if I was following the speed limits
But if you want real time, Google Map will give you a good estimate

I actually documented the time when I was driving from Eureka to Artesia. It was a WoT-contract, so top speed 55 mph in Cali and 65 in AZ and NM. Took me 100 minutes.

Just did a 1,412 mile heavy cargo (milling machine) from Redding, CA to Tucumcari, NM. I didn't strictly time it but I think it was about 1h 40m. Most of that time was just going through CA with the 55 mph speed limit. Arizona and NM both went by fast. You could probably add on another 10 minutes by starting in Hornbrook.

Ended up getting $147,179 and 3,958 EXP for it plus my final achievement for doing a 1,000+ mile heavy cargo with no damage or rule breaks. Pretty fun trip all around.

That's a big payout. I have a mode for real cargo prices so that's a $2,400 payout for me

Yeah, I couldn't believe it when I saw the job listing.

$71,412 - Base reward
$19,119 - Proficiency bonus (level 27)
$14,162 - Long distance delivery bonus (rank 4)
$21,243 - High value cargo bonus (rank 6)
$21,243 - Urgent delivery bonus (rank 6)

I wonder how high it'll get once Oregon is added.

You can count around 45-50 mins/1000 km (I use metrics), altough I didnt measured exactly and I taking some brake after every hour of drivng.
