Trucks Without Gps built in
Are there any truck in ATS that doesnt have a gps built into the dash.. some trucks in euro like valvo and DAF.. some of thier trucks dont have a gps.. can we get some trucks in ats that dont either.. i rather use the laptop or tomtom cabin accessory. but they are kinda annoying to use when i see 2 gps's on my dash

I agree, but you can remove the main GPS. I mean you have 2 GPS, one that is integrated in the HUD. only that you can remove. Not the GPS that are integrated in your truck, and that goes for both ATS and ETS2. You can remove it in the game settings.

I vaguely recall the w900 doesn't have a GPS. I could be mistaken.

If you're using an external display for GPS you can turn off the in-game dash GPS with the zoom key. Three presses should cycle it to "off".

There are some mod trucks without a built in GPS such as the old interior in Viper's Peterbilt 389. All of the base game trucks do indeed have a GPS display in the dash.

lol, well "you can lead a horse to water..."

BTW, OP, the default key for the in-dash GPS is 'i'.

[edit]
Sorry, not 'i', it's the numberpad period key I think.

I don’t believe there is a default. I think I had to set a key so I could alter the gps settings.

Yep you're right, the in-game 'Keys & Buttons' setting for this is 'Dashboard Map Mode' at the bottom of the 'Truck Controls' list and by default it's unbound.
