When to use beacons

I just bought my second truck and put beacons on the top because they look sick. So what are the laws about using beacons? Will I get tickets for not using them? I got them specifically because I thought they would be perfect for over-size loads. I see NPC trucks have them, though on the trailers, so I thought I should get some too.

If I'm hauling heavy cargo do I need to also equip the over-size load bumper banner and flags?

Also I'll ask this here, do I ever get to haul logs? I thought I saw another truck with logs but it was dark so they might have been pipes. I want to drive highway 299W with a logging truck.

There are no rules of using the beacons in game, but irl. I believe laws are different for each states and/or cities. But in game you caa turn on your beacons at anytime and not get a ticket. I use them a lot in game. so have fun.

Here is AU, you are required to run beacons on mine sites and excavation sites..

Even if they are not required on the main roads.

As already stated, the regulations vary from state to state, but in general, beacons are used for oversized loads and hazardous loads, like hydrochloric acid...

Certain trailers have beacons, so I turn them on with those trailers, otherwise not. It doesn't matter in game though because there's no fine for using/not using them and the AI completely ignores them.

I haven't seen any jobs with logs yet unfortunately. Might come with the next map DLC, see picture at SCS blog. Seems like there is a new company coming.

here in ny if its oversized ur required to have and use beacons and ur only allowed to run during daylight hrs
