Say. I’m a loyal. America truck simulator. Player ! I love this simulator! But. I saw on YouTube. A guy that plays America truck simulator. Is name is Martin. Wenzel. Now. He uses. A log book. ( note : look on his Channel. And you’ll see what I’m talking about ). But I like to learn or no how to do that. ! Put up on screen a log book page !! I think it’s cool. ! I use to be a over the road truck driver I use log book like that ! So what I’m Offering. Is. I’m willing to pay some one to show me how to do that ! Put up a log book page on my screen. ! I will pay any one for the help ! To bad SCS don’t use log books like the one in 18 wheel of steel. game . I’m not very smart in computer! But I like to find some help on this !!!! Step by step on how to do it !! So are there any one out there willing to help ?

Tried to look for the mod but did not find it. Why not ask Martin himself? I am sure he tell what it is.

It is more than likely done as a "scene" in OBS, set up as a "browser source" for that to show a picture. He probably switches between them for that run with an Elgato Stream Deck or something similar.

I made my own logbook using Apache Software which is free. If you know how to use Microsoft Excel, just set up the columns you want like To and From, Cargo, Weight, Job payout, Mileage, then mine divides the Mileage by an average fuel per gal which goes in the next column for use with Repairs in VTM. Last is what you put any repair bills. Columns for fines and tolls is handy too.

You can Alt-Tab out of game; then load VTM, and your Excel (Apache) with its info, then copy and paste into VTM what you want . Then it's ready to be administered into your job total by an admin. Keep this Excel file backed up and you'll never be sorry.

Alt-tab back into the game and hit another job.

Is easy, you need a real registration paper and scan it and then modify it between each trip with an editor such as GIMP, Photoshjop, Aseprite, or the program you prefer.

Do they not sell them at truck stops anymore now that everyone is going to electronic? I'm talking about the DOT/HOS logs. Heck I would just pick one of those up and fill out as I play if i wanted to go that route. Or do it the cheap way and get a quad composition book from any school supply aisle and write in the appropriate information.

@trucksimulator59 i know this is an old thread but i happened to stumble accross it. I use truckbooks. it logs everything for you and simple to use. www.truckbooks.eu
