New Shifter Knob
Say i am going to get a shifter knob with the splitter and all. What would be the best one, and site to purchase from (USA.) I understand CSIO is a scam, sort of.

Shifter= G29
Any suggestions?

Right now your best bet is to buy the SimuRide shift knob from Amazon.

TechAffliction has gone silent with reports of people being unable to get a hold of Paul.

Without EasyJake: https://www.amazon.com/Gear-Shifter-Knob-Shift-Replacement-Windows/dp/B0719QG3WR

With EasyJake: https://www.amazon.com/Shifter-Replacement-Logitech-Thrustmaster-EasyJakeBrake-Windows/dp/B07DVW2WYK

did paul quit or something, hes yelled at me and my friend when we both checked on our orders then cancelled them, i dont know if we were the cause or not. we did nothing wrong and yet we get treatment like we are his worst enemy when we have literally given him money

They don't use a US style knob but both SimuRide (A+B Software) and Almar make shifter attachments which are readily available.

I'm using a SimuRide unit at the moment and its excellent.

Avoid Tech Affliction. He's gone completely silent while still accepting orders and payments. I'm in the middle of a PayPal dispute for my order from *5 months ago* to get my money back.

Not worth the hassle. Very unfortunate to see TA do this after becoming what appeared to be a trustworthy alternative after the CSIO debacle.

thanks for letting us know, i have my shift knob finally but that doesnt mean anything. my friend has his also but that could be because it finally made it over after a year, and after almost a year of being in the dark and after one of the workers (im assuming the person who makes them) had a man fit on the phone and cancelled our orders.

I ordered one from TechAffliction over 2 months ago (60+ days). Still no word yet.

I like the design of TA better than the ones I see on amazon but my doubts are growing that I'll ever get what I paid for.

Thats weird. Mine is TA, it works great, and when the computer board fell out of the housing, he promptly sent me a new one that had an improved reinforced housing and connector. Very unfortunate TA is down the drain now. Ive had mine for about 2 years now and im worried though if an other issue arises what i will do.

I've ordered the Simu Shift from AplusB Software - hopefully it will be a decent alternative. It's not a modified Eaton nor does it have the jake brake... definitely not ideal but I think the lower price reflects that. They also replied to my emails immediately.

I just got the Simushift from AplusB, and I'm unable to get my PC to recognize it. I plug it in, and there's no pop-up, and Windows 10's hardware manager (and of course ATS/ETS2) doesn't see it. Am I missing something, or is mine just DOA?

It should work out of the box but try manually installing the Arduino drivers. Failing that, contact APlusB.

No difference with the Arduino drivers either... time to send them an email. Thanks!

I have it. I bought it long time ago. It works in win 10. It like SimuRide shifter.
The CSIO - do not buy it. They will not send it to you.

I'm having the same problem now. Did you ever get yours working?

Sorry, I only just got around to emailing them today, but I'll keep you guys posted when I hear back.
