There is no longer any reason to offset the tyre model anymore, since we now have the new attachment system and the offset parameter in the rim/disc unit definition, so this *should* only be happening with older tyre or rim models which had been built with an offset. Those really ought to be being re-aligned in a modeller before re-releasing for the latest game version. Newer tyre models should just simply be being built with no offset.
Although, it would be nice if the tyre unit had a reference offset as well, I guess, to accommodate older tyre models but... I doubt it will get much traction with SCS as it strictly is a mod issue rather than a game issue.
