Illinois
I can't wait for IL to be a DLC. Crossing the majestic Mississipi into roads lined by corn and soybeans and corn and soybeans...more corn...more soybeans. But then there is Chicago where I can finally get a break from driving by sitting on the Kennedy(I-90) without moving for about an hour. Maybe the Ike{I-290) where I can go 12 mph but its toll free! Speaking of money, the Chicago Garage will be taxed at 400% above the national average. You will also get robbed and may get killed. But its part of the sim fun. Onward to Indianna for corn and pig farms!

Hang in there, I'm sure that we will see the Midwest and Eastern states sometime in the future.

It's will taken a while, but I live in Indiana north, it's not pig farm, it's lot kind of animal, more often I see cattle, horse, and chicken (all 3 are very common I drive by and see lot of it) than pig (rare) and sheep where I live (reason lot of horse is due Amish, they don't travel in car very much but for some reason, more and more do use it than many year ago) oh, and amish do riding bicycle more often than buggy than many year, I think it's due safety and cost lot, do you know that buggy is almost like new car's cost!

Man driving in Chicago is gonna be fun, they should increase the traffic on the tow roads when they do add it.

This is the most inaccurate thing anybody has ever said about Illinois and I live there.

I know this post is years old, but is there a place we can request locations/monuments for IL? There is a small town with a castle off the main road I would love added to the game.

Illinois will unlikely be added anytime soon. And its unlikely that Illinois is SCS's priority since they're focusing on releasing both Oklahoma and Kansas.

Im 43 this month and have lived in Illinois all my life. I have said and would love to see it as a DLC. But Ive been playing ATS since it came out. I have no hope of seeing it anytime soon, if at all. With the work and time they put in to the states and how long its taken to get what we have, it could easily be another 8-10 years before we see anything beyond the Mississippi.

Actually, it's more likely we get South Dakota, North Dakota and Minneapolis before we get Illinois.

There's also Louisiana, which hasn't been announced yet.

Well anything is possible but if they stick with their "Route 66 corridor" plan, then Illinois would be the last state needed to complete it.
