Interesting. I've yet to see one. I'm thinking the trucks are using the wrong type of trailer.
update: I thought so. Wrong trailer type for WA, You won't see one of those at a logging camp.
I don't have a picture of a log truck with it\s trailer ridding piggyback. I'll have to google it.
Those 'piggy back'-style logging trucks are different as they have a carrier (don't know proper English word) instead of a fifth wheel.

I've seen empty logging trailers in ATS, but not piggyback like the streetview picture in the link.
Yes, that's it. Often called a dolly. That's the type you'll see all over the Pacific NW.
Also there were a lot of flatbed trucks taking lumber from the mills to wherever they go.
If California continues to get remodeled, SCS should consider putting lumber industry between Ukiah and Eureka.

Right now ATS has universal, unspecialized trucks which can haul every load.
Buy one truck and you're fine.
No worries, no regrets.
And this is not only for us players an easier way but also for developers.
Additionally i doubt if there would be enough interest by players to justify assigning resources to develop this feature.
Prior to this i would like to see straight trucks which would fit better into existing gameplay in my opinion - and even this can be trumped by easier introduction of various new trailer variants.
I agree, ATS should probably put most of their efforts into map expansions and new trucks right now (though I still believe they should add logging industry between Ukiah and Eureka). That said, it would add realism to have a piggybacked empty logging truck parked here and there, if not made into an actual AI vehicle you can see on the roads.
Same they're really rare though only seen like two ever. And yeah Mudrunner looks awesome i def want it!
