You are like 5 or 6 generations above my sys. You will have an amazing experience with the game.

I run it at Ultra, 200% I got 30fps constant.

AMD Phemon 9950 Black edition (not o/c) 8Gb RAM, AMD 7770 1Gb.

The main bottleneck of ATS and your system is that ATS is several years older than your system. It may find your Ryzen is too sophisticated, much the same way the Beverly Hillbillies will make Roomatiz' Medicine from water taken from the See Ment Pond out back.

Your specs are a great. 1 step above mine. I have the Ryzen 5 2600, 16gb 3ghz ram and a RX550 4gb vram. You should not have any trouble getting at least an average of 60fps.
Just make sure you have the latest version of AMD Adrenalin.

Start with Medium Settings and adjust from there until you find a happy medium.
Some games will be a beast for even your specs, but this one should be fine. Just don't load up on better than 2k graphics, etc. Also, for best quality and fps don't use a resolution higher than 2560x1440

Naw, shouldn't have much trouble when running it in DX-11

This game runs fine on my quietness-optimized desktop from 2013.

I have close to the same set up as you: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 with 16GB 3200 DDR4 RAM and a GTX 1660 Ti and game off of a samsung EVO 500 GB SSD. My operating system runs off of a M.2, but that probably has no effect on the performance.

I usually get 100-144 fps in the countryside and 80fps in the cities and that's all on max settings. I still notice it stutters once in a while and I can't seem to figure out why. It seems to always regardless of the computer I'm playing on.

LOL. And people even bother to answer this guy? amazing.

Btw. Im running the game at constant 60fps on my hyper mega trent i5 and my super gtx 650 from the year 2012. So, yea probably with that computer you will have enough, but i dunno, maybe you will need something more powerful...... . .. . .. .

I DID answer him. The game runs just fine on my dual core Celeron. Having said that, (and just scroll up and look at the replies before you "LOL"), I am currently in a bidding war between an I5 and an R5. I'm just waiting for the pricing on the next gen Ryzen before I commit.

This is what the game looks like on a dual core 2.1 GH Celeron laptop with 4gigs of memory and Intel HD graphics.

If your monster machine can't keep up with my passively cooled 2.1GH (Well under the minimum specs, btw) Celeron, the problem is NOT with the game. I think ATS has optimized this game to the limit.

Usually when a company adds features and DLC, the performance gets worse on weaker machines. I'm finding that with the purchase of Oregon and Washington the game actually runs better.

This potato can run the game at 720p through the wide open deserts of Arizona and New Mexico. Cities like Tuscon and Las Vegas at night make me drop it down to 75% scaling, and sometimes 50% scaling.

Even at those horrific resolutions, the game is 100% playable and the scenery is still beautiful.

Still beautiful and I can't wait to get a new machine. But I will still play ATS on this laptop.

I have the same card as OP and can run in 1080p all maxed, 400% scaling on DX11. I get about 70 FPS, with drops during rain, which may drop the FPS by ten, or all the way down to 30. Either way I'm satisfied.

I have my OS on the SSD. A Samsung EVO 850 SATA 6. I also have two western digital black mechanical HD; 3 & 2 terabytes each. (You will outgrow the 2TB HD) The performance is sublime. Everything maxed out inc scaling at 1920x1080. It's always best to keep the OS on the SSD and games on the mechanical HD (unless your rolling in money and can buy the silliest priced huge capacity SSDs) you don't mention the motherboard? Which is after all the heart of the system. I can overclock on the fly safely with my Asus maximus v gene. It's 6 1/2 yrs old but I'm still playing the likes of the Witcher 3 maxed out at 60fps. PC Gaming is so subjective. What works flawlessly on one persons machine won't on another with similar hardware. Or Intel vs AMD. Which is always the biggest controversial point. Anyway, enjoy.
