The game is called American Truck Simulator, not America Truck Simulator, thus it's about long nose trucks somewhere in America.
The thing is, the states they have done in the past 3 years are all in the top ten of state per area, adding up to one fifth of all the contiguous states. They won't need 30 years to do the remaining four fifths. Or there is a very disappointed middle school math teacher somewhere in the world.
This is completely false and has been debunked on the forums. THey can and do work on neighboring states at the same time. Washington and Oregon for example. However they will not work on the border areas at the same time. One state border will be complete, then the other state team works on their border.
My bad, i must have misinterpreted what was said.
yup reason why i stopped buying states, because the price is near to nothing if you wait it out.
It was an example and of course an exageration. But make the maths. 1-2 states at most per year...
Alright, let's do the maths ...
Contiguous US area : 3.120 M sq.mi
- Cali : 169 M sq.mi
- NM : 121 M sq.mi
- Az : 113 M sq.mi
- Nv : 110 M sq.mi
- Or : 98 M sq.mi
- Wa : 71 M sq.mi
- sum : 682 M sq.mi
- vs USA : 682 / 3120 = 1 / 5
If 3 years = 682 M sq.mi = 1 / 5 then 4 / 5 = ??
(hint : 4 * 3 years = 12 years, ie: less than half of 30 years)
NB: it's flawed because it's based on one team, a rescale and a 2nd team quite later.
Let's conclude the maths : less than 12 years, maybe even less than one third of your 30 years. But yeah, " 1-2 per year " [...] Not only disappointed but litteraly changing its subject the next year. Okay, maybe not, that would an example and of course an exageration.
Arizona, Nevada and New Mexico are west _coast_? You maybe mean the Western United States or also called The Far West.
Anyone else remember the 18 Wheels of steel series where when the game debuted it had all the content advertised such as THEE ENTIRE DRIVABLE UNITED STATES?
And its seems that whenever they finish a new state it ends up as DLC... What happened? When did SCS go so wrong?
