Radio police/fire/ems/ham (LIVE) no music stations

just in case anybody would be interested

here i have made a live radio list sii file, some can be a little silent (less busy than others), has fire/police/ems/marine/ham radios from AZ, CA,CT, IL, MI, NM, NV, OK, OR, PA, UT, WA, WI.


i use the same dropbox link to update the file


DONT CLICK UPDATE FROM INTERNET IN ATS

This is awesome. When I clicked on the Trucker Sim radio I thought I was going to get cb talk and the like. That was certainly not what I got.

im actually trying to find truck talk ones but no luck so far, did some drives with this and i find it adds to the simulation. set buttons up to change stations with so can change to whatever state i go in to just because its that state haha

Nice. Wish there were more CB chatter stations from non EMS and law enforcement but I like what I am seeing. And that is not a dig at cops or anything, I'm a former CO myself. :)

does all CB radios play randomly or do they only play when you are in that specific area of the map?

I used to enjoy the CB Radio feature from the old 18 Wheels of Steel game. It wasn't just pre-recorded tracks of music, but would randomly pop up, and you could interact with it. I remember exchanges where the AI driver would ask for a traffic report, I'd respond, and then they'd follow up with a thanks.

You could also bring up the CB radio yourself and ask other AI truckers for traffic reports, weather reports, etc including if there were any police activity in the vicinity. It was exactly the interactivity of it that made it interesting, even if some of the lines might get old from time to time.

trying to find more "normal" chatter, if i find some then they will be added.

My twin drives an 18 wheeler and from what I understand the radio isnt buzzing like it used to. When riding with my pops when i was a kid it was chatter 24/7. Now.... Not much. The younger drivers dont talk.

Have a look at the Local Radio[github.com] plugin and maybe get in touch with the author of it, it's definitely possible to do.
