How to increase sound effect volume?

When I play ATS, my blinkers, reverse beepers, hazards, sound effects you'd hear in the cockpit are all silent or very quiet. It may be due to my extremely loud engine, but how can I increase the volume of them? I've tried the config method and it wan't very effective. Any ideas?

On top of that, when I play ETS2 the sounds are just fine.

If the config option didn't work the only other way is through either a mod or editing the files yourself. There are several videos on you tube if you feel daring enough to take it on yourself :)

Other than setting all the sliders to max and lowering your engine sound down and adjusting your computers vol. there's not much you can do.

Do you have any mods that deal with sound in some way?

I do, I use the "Sound Fixes" mods by YouDriveSafely to attempt to fix my sound issue.

You also mentioned I can lower the engine sound, how can I do that?

Under Options select Audio. You will find sliders for different sound parts.
