Why is Salt Lake City downtown not accessible?
Does it hurt for them to work on the downtown of SLC?

I’m pretty sure most cities in thos game don’t have downtown. The only one I know is Las Vegas.

Look at these https://blog.scssoft.com/2019/10/road-to-black-sea-servicing-cities.html thats the reason for ETS2 but i think it's the same reason for ATS

Why isn't Seattle's or Portlands or maybe Pheonix? idk

Typically, the only time a truck with trailer would ever go into a downtown area would be for a specific delivery that couldn't be accommodated any other way. And some cities prohibit them completely.

Cause the maps lack content and cities show that.

There's a good reason for that. It's all about scaling. 1:1 requires alot of work and resources that scs doesn't have. They do the best they can with what they've got. Surely it's by no means perfect, but nothing is ever perfect in this world.
Yes this is correct but it would be nice if a bit more content was added in large cities.

Instead of complaining why don't you make a map for everybody with downtown Salt Lake City
Royce Nov 9, 2019 @ 7:24pm
You could also make a map for everybody ? Who cares about 1:1 scale. Also bring American trucks with that.

Smaller trucks would have access to cities but for the large trucks which this game has it is as ~{DCMT}~ Ryu said above.

Large trucks are in every city. This is nonsense cause i see them everywhere making deliveries. Big trucks make deliveries in big cities lol. Typically they are only banned in residential areas.

SCS restricts the trucks to major roads only and until smaller trucks are added to the game (if ever) then they cannot access the cities. If you were to watch the streams which SCS has done you would know this but because you refuse to take any interest in the development of this game and prefer to complain about the game you don't.

This is where game and RL differ. The question is a downtown area?
