Fuel Mileage?
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1772984706

I have switched over to the Daycab. The stat says it all of what it has. I am very confused on the fuel mileage. According to the mileage, I was getting 4.1 mpg. I don't know if that's good or is that bad. I am getting fairly good gas mileage, but why. I less fuel tank (200 gallons). Can anyone explain to me why? I always try to keep the gear in 18th gear when it's appropriate. In cities, there's no way you can. lolol

I thought going less would give more of a challenge and all. NOpe. I am hauling the bigger heavier machineries without any issues. Some where my fault miss turn or not giving a wide enough turn to make it. But the the daycab is my new favorite. I believe that I'll be staying with it for a long time. I love looking back out into rear window and all. Too bad, it does't a rear view mirror. Minor details. I have been hauling with the bigger trucks with a bigger fuel tank and I not seeing any difference between any of these. So I guess it comes down to preference.

Anyone know what I am talking about and explain to me why?

NO NO NO. I already know about the bigger chassis. I wondering why I am getting better fuel mileage on the short chasis? I am practically driving the same distances as with the bigger chassis. That's where my confusion is is. Why? I should be going to rest stops alot more than I am now. I am sorry if I didn't word it right on my main post. I don't want a bigger chassis if the smaller chassis can perform same with a smaller fuel tank and chassis. No sense in getting going bigger when you really don't need too.
Because the day cab weighs less than a sleeper cab. Therefore, slightly better fuel economy.

If I understand your problem correctly, you have switched from sleeper cab to day cab, and you are wondering why you have smaller tanks. This is because sleeper cabs use longer wheelbase chassis that can carry bigger tanks, while day cabs have shorter chassis allowing for less fuel capacity. If you try to install day can on your truck with sleeper cab, it will automatically swaps chassis too, because day cabs are not compatible with long chassis.

Do you mean Kenworth T610? It is wonderful australian truck mod by GTM, look it up on steam workshop. Superb maneuverability and massive stock fuel tanks (442 US gallons with sleeper)
