Removable Oversize Load Banners and Flags
Anyone at SCS here? Hear me out, I own a IRL trucking company. We sometimes haul oversize, but in the U.S. it is illegal to drive around with oversize load signage when not hauling oversize. It would be super easy to have a button you could push, that would mount your oversize signage and flags, and then remove them when you're done. It breaks the immersion when I have to pull a reefer with oversize banners on my truck.

Also, just a thought, most states require 2 strobes on the back of the trailer for oversize, might be a cool addition for oversize trailers.

This makes perfect sense to me, I hope that the devs at SCS do see this as well, though it might be better to post this on the SCS forums, they'd probably see it sooner over there.

Would be nice... I know for one of my videos, I just went and bought some banners for that episode and then removed them the next...but we shouldn't have to spend the money and time each time to do that. Either make it automatic or a simple button (can still make the company have to pay to have them available or something).

Exactly, hell you could make them appear when you activate your strobes, but ONLY if you purchased them.

I agree with soupflakes! After buying the flags and banners, Should only actively appear when you turn on the strobes or perhaps enable when hooked up to the over-sized load.

A toggle for the banner and flags, once purchased, in the F3 menu would be very helpful.

but include the Dangerous Goods (ADR) plates as well, it is illegal to have them displayed with no load, and illegal to move without them if loaded..
Ohh Mr mechanic can you be a dear and turn my DG plates over because I don't know how.... :steamfacepalm:

All good ideas as I have thought of this many times. One reason I don't add the banners to any new trucks. Also I'd like to add, make them appeared on the Mud Flaps, as well if, hauling long loads or, wide loads.

The oversize banner should appear on the front of the truck, free of charge, when an oversize trailer is hitched. Surely this is not difficult to implement.
Flags appearing automatically would also be a thing.

Old post, but I totally agree! We need this in some form.

This makes a lot of sense. Hope they can place a little effort on this.

As little as possible, many more important issues to deal with. I agree that it is currently silly, but who cares?

Just a bump. Anyone fromSCS see h
This? It would be so easy to do.

Would jump on that. Pain in the neck not being able to take them of, in the garage between jobs.
