safe mod sites for ats

I have been looking for a safe mods site to download some mods for ATS and wonder if anyone has some suggests.

I found this one, but is it safe.

Safest places is the Steam Workshop and the SCS Forums

If you want to use mod sites other then the Workshop. Make sure you have an updated Virus scanner and a couple of good Ad Blockers. Stop ad and Adblocker Plus is what I use.

The site owner won't allow stolen/leaked mods to be uploaded there. If they are, then they are deleted shortly afterwards.

I've never had a problem with ats.lt.
Get most of my mods from there.
Modland.net on the other hand, can suck most of the time.

ATS Mods is a pirate site and a Chinese knockoff. They and Truckersmp are full of bugs thats why I don't use them. I get my stuff from Workshop and SCS Forms which are free and have been checked by the bug detector app. ATS Mods are pirate apps and they will steal your money Don't get mods from this site many are outdated and some are betas which will crash your game if you use them. Terrence from Trains RP bought me a Granet and a TITAN I got rid of them the day after I got them which was also the day Terrence fired me from Trains RP. The apps were loaded with bugs and one of them fried my video card and blew up my power supply. Only get your mods from trusted sites those that use Rokoo, Blinder, or any darkweb program to make their mods can not be trusted and will crash your game. the good ones are made by high profile developers who use GIMP, Paint, or Developer Tools and downloaded the templates from the SCS website. Rokoo and Blinder are malware these programs steal files and replace them with a copy that sometimes does not work. too many of these will cause your computer to crash and if you have Windows Firewall on it will detect it as a bug and you could be CTDed or BSODed CTD stands for Crash to Desktop if your mod was made on Blender it will dump you here if Rokoo was used get rid of it immediately because these mods contain dark code which can cause a BSOD crash BSOD is Blue Screen Of Death this is the worst crash ever your game will crash and you will hear buzzing in your headset followed by your power supply making ticking sounds and your motherboard doing the beep code for RAM overload. Don't crash your computer or you will have to restart from scratch with a fresh install and progress lost. Get your mods from Steam or SCS don't buy them from third party sites especially those from the darkweb.

That shows that whoever posted the mod on the mod site used Aradeth's link to Sharemods hosting; which is nice. However, Aradeth has stated that he does not post his mods to anywhere but Workshop and the SCS Forum.

Sharemods hosting is a great website to visit if you have adblock turned off... I had no idea that my windows installation was in need of so many updates!

Its weird that they knew how outdated my windows install was since I was visiting the site on my phone that runs Android, but it just goes to show how dedicated 3rd party mod sites are to keeping your system full of bloat and scareware.

10/10 would infest again!

TL;DR The title of this discussion is "safe mod sites for ats"... sites that use scareware ads (like sharemods) do not fit that title.
