Missing delivery point
Anyone have this happen? Took a job with my own trailer in CA (Have done about 30 jobs with this trailer), no route markers came up so I set my own (Redding CA). Arrive at Redding and there is a red target flag at the delivery point but no green floating icon that you stop at to trigger drop off options. My only option seems to be to abort the delivery, at a cost of $12K.

(This is the only customer with this name at Redding, so its not like I am at the wrong one. Also, other potential customers have the floating green icon for new jobs, but not this place (forget the name of the cusomer...begins with W)

Did you arrive late?
i think you mean wallbert have you check your game log after that ? maybe it shows there whats wrong or when you have the auto parking function on you can maybe drive around there and see were the auto parking function trigger :1033: looks like the mark for the point were you unload it dont spawm after you load your trailer

I think high priority loads will "refuse delivery" if you arrive too late, which is simulated by not showing parking options.

No, straight shot, no rest area break...in tje past when I have arrived late, I can check in but get penalized at the score tally. Cost me about 20K end of the day. (12K fine and 7K lost revenue). Going to avoid "Truckee" in the future, that was the town for pick up.

Dont think it was high priority either ...This trailer is the sliding top box...most of the loads are vanilla (empty pallets etc.)...and yes Walbert...will look to see what log says (not sure where that is)....I just made a follow on trip and it worked as advertised.....High Priority sounds like the failure mode but it is not what I signed up for far as I know....
you must go too : documents ->american truck simulator in there you find a txt data with the name game.log.txt there you find it ^^

The only time I've ever had it happen I was over 15 hours late because I picked up the load when I was completely exhausted and also had to stop at a shop midtrip to get the truck repaired, but you could be right.

I don't even see the parking options anymore because I have parking set to automatically choose the high XP option

When you arrived at the delivery point, was the spot to park the trailer marked? If the green trigger didn't appear, make sure you have "Always Select" chosen for parking difficulty under game play options. That way you can choose where to park the trailer.

I am miles away from doing XP every delivery...impressive. And no the spot was not marked...I drove around the building (and later the town) thinking maybe I hit a level where they got tricky on you...but nope. And I think I am at "Always Select"...I always get three options at the finish. Also I tried looking at the Log but a) looks like it was over ridden by my follow on trip ((time stamp)) and b) i could not make heads or tails of most of it. Meanwhile, loving the sim except for the phanthom cars that crash in to me after I turn away from my on coming traffic check at turns!
cars dont make much damage ^^ when a truck hit you then you get much damage :o
