Realistic economy mods
i have tried playing ATS on my friends computer with his realistic econy mod done by Klass and to be honest...it may be challanging but kinda unfair...i mean after doing 30 jobs to get the first bank loan you have mad about if your lucky 11k

you can barley upgrade with that much money...i mean for a job that takes 12 hours should pay more then $1,100 dollars.....a 12 hour job should pay like $5,000 at least....i can see a 6 hour job pay $1,100

this is just my opinion but some of the econ mods may be realistic but also unfair.....yes i do admit that the money you get with the default ats jobs dont seem realistic but this is not suppost to be a realistic sim game.....

the one thing i do admit is that the bank and the loans you can get could have been done differtly..and kinda like Klass mod ther should be a min number of jobs you should need to do before getting your first loan then getting max loan....i man 5 jobs for a $150k loan is not realistic to me....maybe like 15 jobs for that kind of a loan..then like another 25 jobs to get the 500k limit...

then again this is all just me and my opinon....you may agree..not agree or have other ideas but to each his own i guess :)

You are complaining that realism is too real? Then don't use it. :paradigmhead::evafacepalm::neilfacepalm::steamfacepalm:

Yeah, I use ptr1ck's Realistic econ mod, but I reworked it so it matches what I went through while I was an owner op. The biggest thing I noticed about the vanilla loans is that they are bats**t crazy. In 17 years as an owner operator I have never known of a SBA loan setup for daily payments...

Worse, you are bound by a certain amount of physics in this game. Meaning you can't zoom from New Mexico to northern California in 1 hour and thus can only get so many loads done in 24 hours, but the loans are accelerated like that. Compared to their real life counterparts that is. While I'm sure they exist, I don't know any driver that would go for a $200,000 loan that has a 6 month maturity.

After remaking the mod, the game works a lot more like it did in real life (minus the daily thing), and it no longer felt like a grind to the 'top tier'. If you want to remake the mod you are using I found this to be informative on today's rates: http://www.sbalenders.com/sba-loan-rates/
