Worse, you are bound by a certain amount of physics in this game. Meaning you can't zoom from New Mexico to northern California in 1 hour and thus can only get so many loads done in 24 hours, but the loans are accelerated like that. Compared to their real life counterparts that is. While I'm sure they exist, I don't know any driver that would go for a $200,000 loan that has a 6 month maturity.
After remaking the mod, the game works a lot more like it did in real life (minus the daily thing), and it no longer felt like a grind to the 'top tier'. If you want to remake the mod you are using I found this to be informative on today's rates: http://www.sbalenders.com/sba-loan-rates/
