Fast travel

For the love of the gods, there is any kind of way to fast travel in this game (without buying all the garages etc) ?

Use the dev console to teleport.

goto city_name

Then move the camera down to the road and press F9.

If your keyboard has a standard layout, it's the ` or ~ key. But you have to enable it in your settings file first.

And....How do I enable it in the settings? I'm sorry, I really don't know this things.

Go to Your file explorer go to Documents and click on American Truck Simulator search for a file called Config, click on that and open it with notepad, search devoloper and console and default it should be 0, both change it to 1. once you did that click ~ on your keyboard to open the console.

Open that file in a text editor.
Find the line

uset g_developer "0"

Change 0 to 1.
Find the line

uset g_console "0"

Change 0 to 1.
Save the file.

I should add that you move the camera with the NUMPAD. If you have a tenkeyless keyboard, I don't know how you move it.
You can also switch to this camera at any time by pressing 0 on the top row.

I have enable the the dev console, but when I type "goto city_name" and write a city, I press enter and I go to that city and all I "have" is a flying camera, without my truck..

What do I have to do exactly?

Use the NUMPAD to move your camera (and turn with the mouse). When you get the camera where you want your truck to be, press F9.

Damn, I swear that I'm trying, but I'm not understanding. How can I move the camera with the NUMPAD? I've pressed the numbers and nothing happens.

I don't know, it just works for me. Maybe make sure NUM LOCK is active?

Uh... Maybe? You won't get credit for the distance though.
