Starting Location?
Just purchased this game and was wondering if there is a way to choose a location not in California or Nevada? Its not giving meany options to start in New Jersey my real home state

California, Nevada and Arizona are the only states currently present in the game.

If you want to travel the entire U.S. then you need to download the current version of Coast2Coast mod...
This mod is NOT supported or maintained by SCS so it is recommended that you create a new profile to run on the mod.

You have just over a half hour's time in the game. That's okay, but it puzzles me how there's "not many" jobs to/from NewJersey.
Unless you already have C2C mod, there shouldn't be ANY jobs to NJ because in the base game, NJ doesn't exist yet.

room217au has a good point, the base game doesn't include New Jersey, so naturally, it won't give you any jobs going to New Jersey because to it, New Jersey doesn't exist.
With the C2C mod, you can travel to New Jersey, where yes, you can then get a job to somewhere else (Detroit, for example) because the mod generated that job, not the base game...
Basically, you "bob-tail" to New Jersey, set up shop and run your jobs from there...

The OP missed the Space bar. I think he meant 'giving me any options', not 'giving many options'.

Currently, without any mods, you can only expect to be on the West Coast.

California, Nevada and Arizona should all be included by default. Future states will come and SCS have stated they will charge for additionals as and when they complete them.

Lay your claim down in Las Vegas. A great central location that'll let you branch off into all three currently included base game States.
