Revert to Neutral after menu
Hi,
Every time I enter a menu, when I leave it my truck's reverted to Neutral gear. Is this a known problem? Is there a way to fix it? I can't find anything about it, but maybe I've missed something. Thanks

Think it's nothing more than a safety deal.. It's not a bug or anything, normal for it to do it.

Check your keybinds. You might have bound the neutral gear to the same button as something else.

Nah, I don't have any keys set to Neutral.


If this is an intentional feature, it's a weird one. If I pause while I'm driving along, I don't want to find myself in neutral afterwards. Sometimes I remember to switch it, but often I find myself gradually slowing down on the highway and not knowing why :)

I agree, mine doesn't do this, even with a steering wheel in use...

It's not normal behaviour, but before you go posting it as a bug, start a fresh profile and check that it persists in there. If not then you have a (most likely) control/configuration issue, not a bug.

Ah, found it! After trying a new profile and not having the problem there, I looked at my settings again - before, I was looking in "Buttons", but it turns out the setting was in "Controls". For some reason, Start and Select were set to Drive and Reverse, and while I was driving either would put me in Neutral. Unassigning the buttons fixed the problem.
