Shaking trucks after hooking up trailers
hi truckers out there, i need your help!
I have driven over 250000 miles in ATS but since a few weeks the trucks (standard scs trucks) behave very strange! afer i hook up a heavier trailer like the 20 T bulldozer (standard scs trailers), the whole front of the truck vibrates and when i stop at a hill, the front of the truck shakes from one side to another. I never had this problem before..
1. I don't use mods, i disabled all
2. I reinstalled the game and all dlc's (wheel tuning pack steering creations pack etc.)
Nothing works...
I hope you can help me, I can't find answers and it is no fun playing anymore

do you know how to fix this?

It is a strange fault and evidently not wide spread going by how many replies you have received. The only thing I can suggest is to sell your truck and buy another and see if it still happens.

All my trucks behave like this :(

Have you actually bought another truck?

Sometimes when you have mods (sound or parts), when those are removed some files remain associated with those trucks. If you have not bought another truck, then do so. Also, remove all mods from your game, remove them from your mod folder in Documents and also un-subscribe to the workshop mods you have so you have a clean Mod Manager.

If that does not work then you will need to do a clean install, removing the ATS files in Documents and also the ATS game files on the drive you downloaded the game to.

As I said previously, it is a strange fault and I have not seen any other person report it. Mods are usually the cause of problems people have with the game. Also, not having the latest updates for Windows and the latest driver for graphics can cause problems.

Just uninstalling the game from the steam library and then re-installing it does not give a clean re-install. To have a clean re-install both the ATS files in Documents and the ATS game files located in the steamapps on the drive you downloaded the game onto need to be removed. It is only done as a last resort because it means starting all over again. However, this is sometimes the best option as it returns the game to it's original vanilla form.

If you have all the latest updates for Windows and your graphics card has the latest driver. You have done a clean re-insall of the game and the trucks are still doing the same thing. Then you should contact SCS support for assistance.

Contact SCS support.

Also check to see if anything has changed on your computer since your game was working well.

I wish you luck.

Chances are it's a mod problem. Physics mods are the most likely.
