When ATS updates it always makes a copy of all profiles in My Documents/American Truck Simulator/profiles(<VERSION_NUMBER_HERE>).bak
If you have a few profiles, you can find the folder name by loading the profile, then exit & open your game.log.txt file (Documents\American Truck Simulator\game.log.txt). Look for this line to find it's name,
To get your old profile running, copy/paste it from the .bak folder to, Documents\American Truck Simulator\profiles folder.
If your backup has the same named folder as the current profile, then overright the current profile folder. You only want to overright these items, the profile folder, profile.sii file & the "save" folder with all files in the save folder.
If you had mods on your old profile, then you will need to find updated versions of them or deactive them in the mod manager.
There's no guarantee that your old profile will work with the current version of the game. After all, the current version removed it for a reason :)
