CB Radio System

Hello SCS, I'm hopeful that you may one day add in the CB Radio System from your previous game "18 Wheels of Steel". I LOVED that system so much, and would willingly pay to have it return. Thank you in any case, and have a wonderful day ;)

For a single player perspective, i think that would get very repetive and boring after a while. Dont get me wrong but i think that would fit better in a future MP from SCS, because then you could have CB radio roleplay with friends.

Oh this would be great if they made the feature online, but kept the game SP for everything else honestly. If you enable it it could just send a quick check to their server and anyone within a certain distance of where you are could hear.

Yeah but to be honest i would rather prefer and have private sessions with my steam friends, rather then public with crazy rammer trolls. But that is if SCS also would go for a MP worid without AI traffics, i dont hope so and we could use our mic\headset as Cb radio.

Well in my opinion, it never got boring in 18 W.O.S., but I understand that everyone has their preferences. I second what others were saying, with regards to MP. While I support SCS adding MP, I will never use it. In a game like ATS, Multiplayer becomes a trollfest. I tried the mod twice for MP, and hated it both times lol. So a Singleplayer CB Radio would be just fine. It was used in 18 W.O.S. to check traffic ahead (which could now work with the new "Road Events" added by SCS), check weather and even check for a police presence.

I see what you mean, but the reason why there are so many trolls on the ATS\ETS2 MP mod. Is simply because the modders that made that MP, chosed too not having traffic AI on the roads.Plus the gameplay was simply copy and paste from the SP, so actually it was just Sp gameplay with your friends. I think SCS will give us a more diffrent and more serious MP gameplay, because they want us too start virtual companies on WOT in future. And the WOT is also supposed too be a MP portal in the end, we just need too be patient and wait and se. For now we have too stick with the SP, and thats not a bad thing right now. I just pretend that my mate is in the same world, and that he is in a other state then me. While we talk on mics, that feels like a sort of CB for me.:)
