Cant find the sleeping dialog box at rest area
I pulled into the truck stop along I40 Westbound just to the west of US95 and Arizona. I have 0 minutes remaining on my sleep timer and I cannot get it to sleep. Ive tried 3 different spots to no avail. Im parking nose forward like the other trucks are parked.

Try dropping the trailer and parking just your cab. The spots are finicky sometimes.

Do you have a long trailer? that can cause issues, just disconnect the trailer for the resting.

Yeah, I have the all-terrain crane heavy haul load. That must be it. I ended up loading a autosave and going to a different rest spot. Ill have to remember I can drop the trailer in the future. I thought the trailer would disappear if I unhooked it and left it.

What, you thought the game had trailer thieves? :steamhappy:

As long as you don't drive too far away from the trailer, you can drop it and pick it back up to do things like this. ;)

No I thought it had trailer gremlins that would come through and clean up any unwanted loads.Im not used to being able to leave stuff sitting in games and expect it to be there when I come back.

That's funny. I have unhooked my trailer and exited the game w/out a problem. Come back in, and low and behold my trailer is still here! On the other hand, if you are in MP, THERE ARE trailer gremlins!:steamhappy:

i dont understand why scs doesnt make the parking more friendly, in reality truckers stop to sleep wherever they can fit especially at a full rest stop, but also often on off ramps on the shoulder. i would love to see them make it eisier to get into a spot that allows you to rest, especially with long loads. dont be stingy scs, just open up the markers for sleeping so that ALL PARKING SPOTS labeled for sleepng actually work, and give us some alternative places to rest along the roads where long loads can fit and a trucker who is running out of log time can swing in for a rest without having to move 10 times. ive played this game alot and never not been able to get into a spot with a large load, but to get in a spot, and not be able to sleep and have to move to another, and then possibly a 3rd or 4th time just to make it work is frusterating and costs ALOT of time in game. love the game, will pay whatever for dlcs but PLEASE scs, i just need a rest ;) but really help us out here!

That would be nice. Because of the way it is, I just start heading for an area and as soon as I get the message, I stop and rest, not really caring how my truck is positioned, if I'm blocking people, etc.
