American Truck Simulator not Launching

I have played this game for 165 hours and the game has stopped launching.
It will load on steam and when it is finished it will just dissappear and nothing will load, i have uninstalled it also i have unsubscribed everything from the steam workshop and i have taken off all the DLC. Give me some ideas to what it can be and how it can be fixed.

Have you installed the latest updates for Windows and also updated your graphics card with the latest driver?

Useless. If your config files were the culprit, reinstalling the game will not remove these config files and the game would reuse them, recreating the issue(s).

Reckless. If one of these mods was essential to run your game, by removing it, you just made sure that the game would not run at all, ever again. But from your post, the game isn't even able to load a save so it's not the issue.

Pointless. The DLCs are official contents, they do not make the game crash. But removing them might.

My game keeps crashing on launch......there is a little gray box that pops up on the task bar like its thinking like its going to run for like 2 or 3 seconds and then it disappears. I tried re-installing it, contacted the developer but got no where. I am not sure if its there is a file that I am missing or is broken.

Was the game running ok previously or have you just bought the game? Does your computer meet the minimum requirements to run the game? Are you using mods?

Make sure you download and install the latest update for your graphics card. Right click on ATS in your Steam Library and select Properties then select Local Files and then select Verify integrity of game files. Let that run and it will fix any issues it finds.

If it still doesn't run then select Steam in the left top corner of your screen and then select Settings and then select Downloads and then select Clear download cache.

Just to add: I suggest you post your own thread asking for help when you have problems with the game and not post in someone else's thread.
