kind of a sad ending ...
Yep, the 444 was an NTC 855 big-cam. Though, actually, the engine used in the movie was a CAT 1674 twin-turbo (and bolted to a 13 speed ♥♥♥♥♥♥) but the engine in that video, judging from the idle, seems to me to be an NTC Cummins.
Those old 351/281's often mounted NTC 250..350 cummins engines.

I should really have said 'the engine used for "most of the rolling scenes" in the movie...' as there were several trucks used with likely different engines.

You know you're getting old when at least some people who play trucking games don't know that they've just watched a video of the primary antagonist in the movie Duel :/
