American Truck Simulator: G920 Wheel & Shifter Compatible?
Wondering if the Logitech G920 Racing wheel and Logitech G Driving Force Shifter would wor well on American Truck Simulator? Or would i be better off with something different? I would like to use an actual stick shift in the game if possible. Thanks.

Yes. All Logitech wheels are supported.
Yeah mate it works like a charm. I have the G920 and have no problems with it. If you need any tips with installing it, throw me a line. I will answer any questions you might have. I'm in Australia so there could be a little time difference. Good luck with it mate.

Thanks for the reply!
I just bought a G920 2 weeks ago and it works great !
I am using a similar G29 in Linux, but with paddle shifters for manual-sequential shifting. The only thing missing for Logitech wheels in Linux ATS and ETS2 is force feedback, although, I imagine that works in Windows.

Hey nate what about a 936 with the 6 speed shifter how would I get the remaining gears?
I know I'm late to the party on this

You need two more switches/buttons for range select and gear splitter.
I wouldn't say it works like a charm. If you don't know the presets, and your wheel is brand new, never been used on this game, your gonna have problems setting it up. I was pointed to youtube video after video, I still couldn't set it up for ats or ets 2 for that matter. The Thrustmaster is probably way better than the stupid G920. I got tired of it all, and use my xbox controller, which is pretty crappy when using it to steer a truck. Taking slow turns on the freeway when taking bends is a nightmare, because the controller is not as a good as a steering wheel. I will probably put my G920 up for sale next week, still a lot of demand for them where I am but hard to get hold of.
Not sure where I am going from here, the new update has made things even worse for controller users, with rough roads etc. Funny how the deck the game works flawlessly using native controller, but not on pc xbox controller :(

Ive never had issues getting my G920 to work. Make sure you have the right software and drivers installed for the wheel, and it should register and work in the game just fine.
My G920 also works, with no problem.

There are some 3rd party add ons that you can use to attach to your shifter. They add the splitter for ranges and the other gears. I've seen them be simple two toggle switches for like 30 bucks on sites like Etsy to these really nice looking handles that replace the gear shifter knob for like 100. They even have a button for the engine brake.

Only issue is that they are technically another device, so it'll need another USB port if that's an issue for you.
i got it working pretty good thank yall for getting back with me even though this was a very old thread!
Hey guys quick question, may be off topic. I have the G920 and I am looking forward to purchasing a truck shifter add on for my Logitech shifter. My question is I play on console and would like to know if the 3rd party controller is being recognized? Any info would help.
