what are these random events?

i never heard what kind of events there are.

They can be trucks broken down, road works, police attending accidents, fire engines attending burned out cars, etc.. I have not seen them all but there are many and many more to come with New Mexico. They are fantastic and add a great level of realism in the game.

The Random Events are currently in the 1.29 beta. And as said above, they add a lot of Events.

There are a selection of others including broken down cars, burnt out cars, small planes landing on the roads etc plus more. All of them are static but offer additonal immersion and the element or surprise. Hopefully we'll see more dynamic ones in the future.

I actually saw a small plane crashed on I10 surrounded by emergency vehicles. Then, broken down rigs, AI being pulled over.
A when bunch of random like that which serves to add to the realism.
Also, it keeps ya on your toes while driving.
