I've always left to zero for every racing game I've played in the thrustmaster settings.
The most active wheel-using community is racers; they hate dampering. But for truck driving, dampers give the feel of power steering: easy to turn when going slowly, but harder to turn at speed. This behavior mimics power steering IRL where you don't want the wheel easy to turn at speed. I set my dampers around 75%.
I've had this happen before. I had to redo the firmware update. This has worked for me.
Did you have any issue finding the "firmware update" on your computer? I contacted TM a few days ago about not being able to locate it.
No. I installed to default for software. When clicking Windows 10 Start button, I can find it under Thrustmaster in the App listings. Another option is to find the install folder. My Firmware Update is located here:
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Thrustmaster\FFB Racing wheel
The Program Data is a hidden folder. Might need to show hidden folders to access this.
Owe you a beer sir. I couldnt find it in the search but when following your locations i was able to locate it. ill update the firmware and try ATS
updated the firmware, deleted ats and re downloaded, made a new profile with new mods, reinstalled driver...any other suggestions lol
I have a T150 and I have to use PS3 Mode for PC connection.
Ive tried every USB port on the computer 2.0 and 3.0. ATS is the only game thats not seeing the wheel. Guess ill have to call ATS support tomorrow.
