Report a translation problem
We didn't have this in the 70's so I am doumb founded. Haven't been in a truck for more than 30 years. We had two tanks, but you'd have to jump out when it ran low on one side and manually switch to the second tank. Perhaps I should do some research on the Internet, to completely understand it.

The way I see it is that there is a Fuel Gauge (Diesel) and then the DEF gauge and they work independend from each other. The Diesel fuel could be empty while the DEF gauge still show some flued in it, depending on how much of the cat piss was injected into the emission control system.
