Playing on two computers.
This has probably already been covered, but I can't seem to find it. What I want to do is play this game on two different computers with the same account, but not at the same time. However, I want to be able to play the same game with the same progress as on my laptop, so I don't have to start over on the desktop and visa versa. Is there a way to do this?

You will need to either copy the save data back and forth on a thumb drive or via network. There is no cloud save.

Thank You. I can do the network thing.

Playing twice at the same time may not be possible because of Steam DRM.

But using the same savegame, definitely - it is in a directory called "American Truck Simulator/profiles/[...]/save" somewhere in your user's home directory. For example in case of the linux version ~/.local/share/.
Copy that to an external drive, keep it updated on some fileserver or what ever suits you most.

3 words, Game Save Manager. Google it.

That is what I use to play in my 2 laptops (Not at once as the OP), set it to a cloud service (Drive). My progress is up to date always.

Log into steam on both machines. You can stream from 1 and play on the other. Dont know if they need to be on the same network but thats what i do. My main save is on my laptop but i play on my pc
