Upgrading your starting garage is the most expensive thing you can do in the game.
Upgrading it to 3 slots will cost you $180,000. That is $90,000 per additional slot.
You can buy a new 3 slot garage in another city for the same $180,000. That works out to $60,000 per slot.
Then upgrading the 3 slot garages to 5 slots is the cheapest thing. It is $100,000 to upgrade the 3 to a 5 which is $50,000 per slot.
Now that that is out of the way, the advantages to more garages is that you can buy additional trucks and hire ai drivers to work for you making you more money than you can make by yourself. Each truck and driver will need their own garage slot. You won't be able to purchase any more trucks, even for yourself without additional garage space.
I usually just head over to my garage and refuel my truck and sleep.
Though I remember a long time ago in ETS2, I went over to my gas station and there was a traffic light nearby. It was red and I suddenly got a ticket out of no where. O.O
I felt surprised, annoyed and then I forgot to take a screenshot.
Happy
Humm . . . Trucker_Kate, how do you get that Emoticon?
EDIT: The Steam Marketplace is a great thing
