Fire Engines

Bit surprised these never materialised as AI traffic. I'm not from the US but they seem to be an iconic aspect of the roads. Anyone know of any mods of these that can be incorprorated into traffic?

Although we are rather known for our firetrucks, I very rarely see them on the highways. They pretty mutch always stay in one town, and unless there is an emergency on the actual highway, they don't really go on it, exept for when they are being delivered. And since you will most likely spend most of your time on the highways anyways, SCS must have decided to leave them out completely.

Ah that makes sense. The scale of the cities are so small that it wouldn't be viable for sure. Thanks!

I remember a mod that put fire trucks in traffic a while back, but don't know if it still works after several updates. Just have to search mod sites & try it.

I remember a fire truck mod, loved seeing the fire trucks but they appeared too often and their incessant sirens were annoying. I had to remove it because of that. To see a couple every trip would have been ok but every 5 minutes or so and all with their sirens blaring got a bit tiresome.

They are the same. I had to put a bug report in to ask them to make the crest/name generic because they were previously Miramar; Florida ones. :D

Most states and municipalities have same fire engine types, but their paint schemes are usually somewhat different although look very similar. Fire engine badges are also somewhat different but almost always based on Maltese cross
