LOL Great video!
I donate to mod's,
I dont think I should have to pay up front. Who know's if works or what the authour needs to fix.
A steam mod release would probably make the author more $$
I have driven a few C500 (8x6 twin steer) and would love to see it availble.
Yes, unfortunatly its pay before download.
Requires steering wheel pack DLC also.
Another sad part is any real C500 twin steer does NOT have a liftable front-axle, useually one of the steers is also a powered axle.
I would gladly donate to the author if it was available on steam.
Most of the authors reply's to users comments in the skins for the truck, he seems to think its his right to charge.
Hopefully SCS is getting a royalty from the author.
SCS provides an increadible set of tools for MODing ATS for FREE, isn't only fair they get a piece of the pie from modders who charge upfront.
Personally I'm not terribly fussed that people are charging for their mods (after all, nobody is forcing me to buy them - I have the choice to simply do without them)... but I am definitely not going to be paying for a mod that has been locked, at that point I draw the line.
Every single truck mod I've *ever* come across has had flawed configuration to some degree or other, some rather deeply and the few 'commercial' mods I've had land in my possession have been no exception. Not going to pay for a mod I can't edit and I'm not going to help encourage the practice of locking mods.
Not always successful, and I'd still rather not encourage them being locked in the first place :)

To be more accurate, it's always possible to recover all the files themselves, but if they wanted they can make it almost impossible for you to recover the filenames without resorting to writing yourself a programme to parse them out from in-file references and comparing against their CITYHASH. When you have a mod that does this and it contains several THOUSANDS of files, you 'aint gonna be doing that by hand ;).
