G29 Steering Axis not picking up
So basically, I've hooked up my G29 steering wheel, pedals, and shifter and when i load up ATS the wheel in game basically turns all the way to the left, and my actual one doesn't move what so ever, if anything the wheel is loose as hell. I've tried testing the G29 in the printers and devices tab and basically it picks up everything but the steering.

Some things to try:

1. In ATS, Options>Keyboard, Unassign any key associated with steering.

2. Calibrate the wheel in ATS. Options>Controls, click on Joy wheel axis, rotate the wheel until the yellow line goes full left or right (rotation direction does not matter).

2. Change USB port.

3. Verify that the PS3/PS4 switch on the wheel is in the PS4 position.

4. Ensure firmware is up to date. LGS should have prompted updating automatically, but in case it did not.

5. Calibrate the wheel in Windows. Pull up the Run box by typing Run into the Search, select the Run app. Type joy.cpl into the Run window. Select the G29, click Properties button, select Settings tab, and click the Calibrate button and follow the instructions.

6. If nothing above works, can you try using a different computer? If so, and the problem replicates, you may have a bad hardware unit. Mine failed when I first got it, replaced under warranty through Logitech support. Took about about two weeks to get the new unit.

I tried it all, the steering axis in game does not pick up what so ever. Everything else works fine besides the steering axis.

If the wheel does not calibrate in Windows, you may have a bad unit. One last thing to try and if this does not work, recommend contacting Logitech support:

• Powercycle the device.

1. Unplug the wheel from the power supply and computer.
2. Unplug the pedals from the wheel.
3. Wait for 15 seconds before reconnecting the pedals to the wheel.
4. Reconnect the wheel to the computer and power supply.
5. Test and observe if the issue is gone.
