About CB Radio

So one factor that I bought this game is the addition of "CB Radio" that I heard from the trailer video at Steam store (like old 18WoS game that tells you about weather condition, traffic condition, etc)

How do I activate this feature? I already have few workers here, but still no CB radio.

American Truck Simulator does not have the CB Radio feature that 18wos Haulin/American Long Haul/Convoy had. The CB Radio you hear in the trailer is just that, part of the trailer.

I can see (hear) why you thought there was a CB radio in the game. The soundtrack for the videos on the store page includes the narrator making what sounds like radio transmissions. Unfortunately, there is no CB radio in the game.

There is a mod that will put a cb in the cab of your truck. Then there are mods that will give you cb sounds. Do a search from your browser and you will find them...

Ah I see. Kinda dissapointed that the trailer video is a bit misleading.
I hope SCS would add this feature someday.

I did a search and I can't find any CB radio mod that gives information about ingame surrounding (I mean, when one of my worker went into that area and its raining, he/she would report it to me)

You have to have both files to make it work.. The sound search for UncleD cb sounds

There is NO CB in the single player version of the game...
If you want a working CB radio, go to TruckersMP and download the multiplayer mod, that has a working CB radio in it.
If you don't want to do that, then you are pretty-much S.O.L.

You really don't know what you are talking about. I use those mod and have cb and the cb chatter. It not like multi play. It more like Haulin and to other old SCS truck games. Look at the picture...

Yes there are mods to do that, but they won't do what the OP is wanting, they appear to want a 'functional' CB radio, which only exists in TruckersMP, this is just a 'cosmetic' mod, not 'functional', it's just random chatter, basically...

I'm running the game trucks and not the beta. SCS game Pete 389...This mod is not functional like mutiplayer...

It sounds to me like the OP is wanting something similar to the ATC (Air Traffic Control) in Flight Sim X, you can interact with it, request landing instructions and such, but that doesn't exist in single player ATS, even with mods...

I haven't tried MP mod yet, but as far as I know, that mod does not have server resides in Asia, so I prefer not going to use it at the moment.

Weather status is random and is specific to you. your drivers are non exisant in game - they do not actually drive anywhere or even complete any of the jobs that you do - they are just background players that add to your costs and create money for you. They are little more than an in game background algorithm so there isn't the detail in the base game that you would like.

The TruckersMP game will only give you CB chat with other real game players.
