There are mod maps available that although not as detailled as official SCS releasea will allow you to expolore a bigger area if you so choose.
If you are just too impatient to wait for SCS to release the rest of the US, then you should look into the map mods, Coast to Coast, VivaMexico and Canadream.
With these you can drive the entire US and most of Mexico and Canda, the scenery isn't great due to the lack of prefabs that "fit" those areas, but it's better than nothing if you just can't get those panties unbunched... lol
LOL,
Even with all the additional DLC, Going East, Scandinavia and France DLC packs there is still only about 2/3 of Europe covered.
How about, oh, say 6 of us, who've probably never been to Europe, try to recreate the entirety of it, with all the "little details" and do it in less than a year. Let's not forget we have to make it realistic, so we better get the terrain, plants, animals and people correct or someone's gonna be b**chin' about it...
We can't make it 1:1 scale, that would just be too big, so let's make it half-scale. No, can't do that, it's too small now, so now we have to rescale all of what we have done so far or just start over.
Hmm, this is starting to sound quite familiar... ~wink~
This is true.
I love ATS even with only 3 states. Would I like more? Of course I would! However, I don't travel down a road and think oh well that is off my list of roads to travel. Even if I have driven down the same road 100 times and most probably I have, I don't think I am sick of that road. I just love to drive and I especially love to drive in the U.S. It does not matter how many times I have been through a city or driven down a road or delivered every cargo there is. I just love to drive!
