Unable to install DLC
I'm unable to install a DLC to ATS. I've tried rebooting my PC, rebooting Steam, pressing the little clicker thing a few times, switching regions, clearing the local download files, and visiting support, which was useless because it got stuck on a white screen.
Please help, I spent good money on this and I'm personally really annoyed.

What DLC are you trying to install? Is it showing up in your DLC list in your library?

Heavy Haul, yeah it shows up as in my library. It's in the "DLC" folder, I just can't find a way to install it.

Per design, you do not install a DLC. You buy it, Steam downloads it after you say so then Steam activates it, automatically, and then ATS activates it, automatically. If you're not able to find any trailers, it's another issue entirely.

Actually not true at least not always there have been a couple of occasions where i've bought dlc and it hasnt installed. Verifying the file integerity fixed it for me on both occasions

Bought 9 DLCs for ATS & ETS2 combined, never had to enable them once, either on Steam or in the games, it was always automatic. At the same time, I've never had any of the common issues of these two forums (lost profiles, corrupted profiles, loss of FPS and whatnot)

This is a common issue with Steam. Go to the library page for ATS and scroll down to the dlc section. Does the dlc have a checkmark in try he box indicating that it is installed? Uncheck the box and then completely exit Steam. Then restart Steam and put the checkmark back into the box.

Also, what makes you think that it is not installed?

Run steam as admin and that should help. I all ways run in admin and that way I don't run into problems. Just a thought. Take care.

Is the box ticked? If so and assuming the content authorisation install has occured; the heavy haul trailers should be available in-game to choose in the frieght market when they appear.

1. It says it's not installed.
2. The new freight does not show in game.
3. Yes, the box is ticked.

For the new freight to show up you have to sleep a couple times to let some time in the game pass so that the current the jobs have time to expire to make room for the new loads to show up. They don't show up automatically just by installing, it takes time.

Where does it say it's not installed? The only place I know of that would indicate that is or is not installed is the checkmark in the box under the dlc section.

You tried using the ATS support section, but it got stuck on a white screen. Did you try again?

I see lots of other options on the support page. If the ATS specific pages aren't working, try something and see where it leads you.

@Dr. Wigglespank It says "Not installed" in the DLC section on the game page. It's in my library, but it's not installing. The problem right now is that I cannot install it via steam. It's not showing up anywhere.

I will try waiting for new jobs, but since the in-game DLC says it's not in there, and the game page, I don't think it will work.
