Logitech G920 Shifter not working ingame
Title pretty much explains it all, the shifter works for setting up the buttons in the options menu but in game when im driving, it stays on neutral. Anyone know why this is happening?

Do you remember how you fixed it? Just got a G920 and I'm having the same problem.

Have you assigned and using the clutch?
carlpeddy Dec 26, 2017 @ 11:24am
Yes, the clutch is assigned and responds in the controls menu.

And your transmission in set to h-shifter (and not sequential)?

Yes, set to H-shifter, and using Eaton-Fuller 10 speed layout. It's like the game does not recognize the shifter's movement once I'm in the truck, although in the Controls menu I can reassign the shifter positions using the shifter itself, if that makes sense. In other words, the shifter is recognized in the Controls menu, but not in the truck??

Thanks for your patience.

Hm, that's truly weird. Only thing that comes to mind now is does your truck actually have a 10-speed Eaton-Fuller box?

If I recall correct, when i was messing around with different boxes and trying different layouts for the shifter a while back, there was some sort of weirdness going on. But I don't think it ever completely stopped working.

i'm about to refund this garbage game. 1 hour in and i cannot drive forward in the tutorial, i have tried EVERYTHING. reset the controls, rebound everything, nothing works. when I push the clutch in the engine starts revving and pushing the gas just makes a needle move on the dashboard, switching gears does nothing, it's always in neutral. one time i managed to get it into reverse and it never came out of it

Yes I am, I rescued myself to the nearest shop to install the 10-speed gearbox. Logitech Gaming Software recognizes the shifter, and shows all movements on the test page. Very frustrating!

Sounds like your clutch is mapped to the accelerator and your accelerator is mapped to the brake. There is a brake application pressure gauge on the dash.

Except in the test page, it shows the clutch movement as the right indicator, brake as the right indicator, and gas as the right indicator.. I even looked up a youtube tutorial on setup and it still doesn't work

OK, I figured my problem out in case anyone else encounters it: my clutch range slider was all the way to the right (default), and the game was not recognizing that the clutch was depressed when I pushed it. I slid it back to about halfway and I can get the truck into gear. The gear positions are all wonky, but I can work through that.

I fixed my problem too, I had to do the same as the above and switch brake to clutch and clutch to brake (even though in the options it already showed the correct values)
