When you tap the CC "set" key, the Cruise control speed shows the speed you set.
While I haven't really looked anywhere else for an "indicator of CC", Im always looking at the set speed, because that is what's important.
Perhaps they've incorporated the indicator and the setting in one display?
Maybe the actual W900 doesn't have one either?
You need to switch the dashboard display mode over to the speed readouts. The default key for the dashboard display mode switch is 'I'.
I've always used the retarder for slowing trucks because it is instant. There is a delay between Jacob activation and effect. I'm not criticizing that.
But the retarder sound is wimpy compared to the cracklin' deafening asault of, say a Cummins Jake.
I operate the retarder from the mouse-wheel, which works great for me, but the engine brake will not bind to the mouse-wheel.
So I replaced the retarder.ogg sound with a wicked Cummins engine brake sound, turned it up a tad and saved it as retarder.ogg
So the retarder still works as normal, it just sounds like a tank division is comin' down the road.
