On a similar note, what is the deal with the weigh stations in the rest stops? Has anyone ever had to pull into one of those?
Those aren't Weigh Stations, rather, they are Certified Scales. Not really something necessary for the game, but you can pull up and pay to have your truck and load weighed.
Jack.
Thank you :)
very detailed answear, thank you for that and stay save on the roads ;)

Our company doesnt have prepass, which is a small transponder in the cab that lights up when you go under a sensor before the weigh stations in America. If you get a green light you stay on the highway and keep truckin, red light means pull in.
The game does have a similar system for the stations. From what I can tell, the first time I come to a particular weigh station, I have to pull in and then any time after that, I get a bypass message and green light from that station. Not sure if that resets after a time or not.
Here's a silly question. When you're driving on a highway at 55mph or over, how do you know the green or red light is meant for you and not some other truck? Or they pick all of you truckers in the area at the same time?
I liked you other vids, if you could to one with weigh stations, that would be cool.
I'm actually talking about the cases when, as you say, you don't get a transponder from your company. So I guess you have to follow messages posted on LED's at the side of the road. That's the reason for my question. How would you or other drivers, at full speed, realize a message is for them?
