Custom Images Idea!

Here is an idea for the developers.

It would be really cool if there was an option when painting that allowed you to import your own image(s) to add to your truck so you could totally customize your Truck,

I guess i didn't see this in the customization area, I only saw custome painting where you could only pick from what the game had available. Not sure where this is located, thanks for the heads up.

The templates don't come with ATS but can be downloaded from many ATS mod sites, some may even have trailer templates, but those seem to be harder to find.
You open them in a photo editing software like GIMP or Photoshop and customize away.
When finished, you import your paintjob as a mod into ATS, put it on your truck and away you go, custom paintjob.

OK i understand MOD and i have Gimp, I will check out the work shop. Can you suggest a Mod and can i through a mod make a customixed Compamy logo?

The workshop is a good place to find paintjobs that other people have made, but if you want something customized to your specific case, you'll have to either get someone to make it for you or make it yourself.

Thanks you so much for your help and taking the time to head me in he right direction, your a good person. I have all the tools now and bookmarked that video and found the Truck Skin. Now to learn and try, i have done some work in Ark Survival Evolved so i have the basic idea just have to learn the new tools. Thanks again for all your help :)

I wish SCS allowed you to paint the company logo/name, city & state (country for ETS2) that the truck's garage is located and a truck number on the truck over the base paint job and move that stuff around.

I would think that your suggestion wouldn't be too hard to implement.
Who knows? Maybe it will appear in a future patch or DLC...

I think you can do the whole cumpany thing, watch this video, this guy shows how to put the company information in the GPS and the logo and the sign on your building. This is what i believe what your looking for.
