how do i get Pimp My Truck

i bought truck and apllied custom paint on one i am driving and on company owned. No achievement whats up? Do I have to buy dlc?

It's best to use the three or four tone paint jobs if the achievement isn't popping up. If you have enough money; save your game and just experiment with any paint jobs that allow multiple customisable colours. If you are using a modded truck with a non-vanilla paint job; this could also affect the achievement unlocking.

I don't think it works when purchasing a truck. Go to a Repair Shop after you own it, use the Metallic Paint and change the color; use something other than default.
