Recently took a modified Transformer of 150tons with a maxed out 389. Could hardly move. Toned it down to 125 tons and it's easier, but still requires LL most of the time to get moving.

Happy heavy hauling and
edit.. And avoid San Francisco ,and the Eurotunnel of ETS2, because the belly of the lowbed touch the asphalt.
Thanks

The heaviest load I did was the lift truck which was the first one I did, went to the Weight station at least once and weighed over 164,000 pounds from both the Truck and Trailer combined but it was fun driving the oversized cargo and it gives the game a little flavor. I honestly enjoy the brand new DLC and its worth every penny of the $5 DLC. I'll love to drive the Doubles when they do come out but when that update that includes the Doubles comes out I'll be happy to drive the Double trailers and I am willing to wait, I got the patience to wait.
Where they touch the ground is in the slopes of the city, not in the port
what mods do you use i want to know :(
My current profile is just starting at level 6 right now and I am setting it up as a driver who is 'addicted' to heavy oversized loads. Quite fun struggling with a stock truck. Makes you feel way more proud to upgrade that engine/trans and get the 6x4 when you finally can.
Forgot to mention for the first heavy haul the trip was 148 miles and I used 130gal of diesel.
Yes, I understand.
You are probably aware of this please do not be offended. Second reason for ther post incase others are having issues with ground clearances.
If the frame is hanging up in the streets of San Fran, Coast Line Mining or Scales in Truck stops. The issue is fifth wheel height. May have to use a different tractor and or tire size in order to give the trailers enough clearances. it is the same IRL..
Main tractors used for heavy haul is the ATS 389 or the 389 V-2.
Steer Axel
Wheels: Alcoa Disk Standard
Tires Michelin X Multiway 3D 315/80 Like the front end of the tractor raised up about 3 inches.
Steer Axel:
Wheels: Alcoa Disc Heavy
Michelin XFE Wide Base 385/65 Very close to the same diameter as a 315/80.
Like the drives to be about 1 inch to 2 inches lower then the steer axel...Not always possible.
Drive Axels Ths is the primary drive set up. Will raise the fifth wheel aproximatley 2 inches to 3 inches.
Alcoa Standard Wheels
Tires Michelin X Multiway 3D 295/80 Provide enough side wall clearance between the tandems. The 315/80 are taller. How ever side walls touch not enough side wall clearances on a tandem. Tried various wheels with 315/80s still cannot get enough side wall clearance. Safety issue IRL. need about 4 inches of clearance.
Drive Axels second option. Will raise the fifth wheel aproximatley 5 inches to 6 inches.
Use this set up for pick ups and deliveries at Coast Line Mining. when the pick up and or delivery is complicated if necessary. After evaluating the pick up or delivery at the mine. This set up may or may not be trequired.
Wheels Seagul Wide Chrome. For the Super single drive tires.
Tires: Michelin XZL Wide Base 445/65
Thank You

It's just RJL's Scania T ported over to ATS. Nothing more, nothing less far as the truck is concerned.
