Highway 95 speed limit
Hey guys,

Highway 95 has a strange speed limit of 15mph... it goes almost the whole way. Initially close to a railway crossing it changes but then does not ever come back and I have not seen 15 anywhere else before.

I reported it to SCS and they put a ticket in on it so hopefully it'll be fixed soon.

there are several 80mph speed limits too...which dont actually exist anywhere in the USA on 2 way roads. Also, the national speed limit for trucks is 55...why the heck are we getting away with 70, 75, 80?

I just recently went through US 95 in one of my loads in ATS, but Yes this needs to be fixe, I may not live in California but US 95 in California should not be 15 mph in the first place, I'll take the speeding tickets no problem.

I did too. With more than one person reporting it, hopefully it'll become a priority fix.

There is no national speed limit anymore. They dropped that a long time ago. There are a lot of states with 75 mph & I maybe higher. I have been driving locally for last 10 years & hadn't been off east coast for a while prior to that

california needs to abolish the blanket 55 limit too...the best way to reduce freeway accidents is to have all the traffic moving together....its rarely a trucks fault, but invariably a truck is involved when a stupidity crash happens here.

I agree with this. If all traffic is flowing at the same speed, it only makes sense that accidents would occur less often.

that is how california makes the money from the truck drivers speeding tickets and accidents

OH finally dropped their split limit BS long time ago & the world didn't end like all the safety groups claimed. All about the money

Good deal

It's still there if you go southbound. Northbound, no issues.
Raven Jun 19, 2017 @ 8:14pm
Just ran southbound today and it's still 15mph unfortunately.
